If you're thinking like me, then you've probably already calculated that your tax rebate (economic stimulus package) means more than 30 minutes of tunnel time!!!

Rick and Steve went to the tunnel with me last weekend, and did an absolute amazing job! Not only did we have a lot of fun flying (on a cloudy/windy day), but they improved soooo much in just a short amount of time! Way to go guys!

On another note- Is anyone interested in a packing "conference"? I say "conference" because I know everyone on this e-mail list is already a proficient packer, and may not really need a packing class or lessens. However, I think packing is kinda like skydiving in that if you're willing to keep your eyes open and take advice from others there always seems to be something else you can learn. So what I am envisioning with this "conference" is just where someone packs a main one step at a time in front of a group of people. We'd pause between each step in the process and discuss if anyone in the group does anything additional or different at that step and the pros and cons of doing that. I'd be happy to host this at my place, at no cost, on a weekday evening. Perhaps we'd chip in on pizza for dinner. Beverages would be on me. At this point I just want to gauge interest, so please shoot me a quick e-mail back if this sounds like something you'd be interested in. If there's more people interested than would fit in my place, perhaps a Friday evening at Skydive Carolina would be an option. Saturday evenings are usually busy with other interests going on.

I'll follow up with those that e-mail me and try to work out a date that works for everyone that e-mailed me.

I hope everyone has filled your taxes by now, or has a fun evening planned tonight. :) In addition to your tax refund (or amount owed), you've probably heard you'll be getting a tax rebate (aka free money) from the Government. If you're single this will be $600 (as long as you: file your taxes, made over $3000 in 07' and paid over $600 in taxes, didn't make more than $75,000 adjusted gross income). $1,200 for married, and an additional $300 for each kid. If you had your 07' tax refund/withdrawal automatically to your bank account, then that's how you'll be getting your $600. If you had your 07' tax refund mailed to you, then a check will be mailed out to you.
