T-shirt Designs

We showed the current design on the big screen, and decided to place the freefalling Cocky small on the front chest corner, and the Cocky under canopy large on the back. T-shirts should be here in 1-2 weeks!

Sports Club Presentation

We're currently a student organization with Russel House, and are taking the necessary steps to become a sports club with Strom Thurmond Fitness and Wellness Center. The first big step is gathering information about our club/sport to present to the board. Remember, we can't get any school funding until we're officially a sports club! Some members volunteered to start researching information for the presentation, but they may not be able to do everything! If you're interested in helping the Flying Gamecocks reach sports club status, please let one of the officers know!

Here are the categories and volunteers thus far:

*Safety Records (from Skydive Carolina and USPA) - James Hale

*USPA Group Membership and Benefits - Nathan Bidwell

*History of our club - Kristen Hambright

*Sports Clubs Standards - Jake McVay

*Benefits of Skydiving and of being a sports club - Wesley Mullen

*Education - Bryan Germann

Again, if you have a little bit of time to help out, let us know.

 New Policies

From now on, if you want to make a skydive, you must schedule your skydive with us 10 days in advance!

Also, nake sure to check out our new policies for when we hang out at the dropzone. See the tab "DZ Life."

Nov. 22-23 Weekend

This Thanksgiving Celebration is NOT ON ACTUAL THANKSGIVING WEEKEND! It is the weekend before.. so don't think that you have to skip out on family and pie in order to come skydive. :) Sign up by Nov 12, and if you are planning to attend, Nov. 12 is a mandatory meeting. Don't forget that the Saturday night (Nov. 22) we will be having a Pilgrim and Indians Party, so don't forget your costume!
